Job vacancy Product Designer

- Overall responsibility of improving the merchant experience of our products while balancing business
and client needs
- Work closely together with Product Managers to understand user needs and plan, design and execute
new projects or product enhancements to improve usability and drive product penetration
- Create design assets to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, solutions and flows to
internal teams and external stakeholders
- Take ownership and lead research and discovery initiatives related to your squads’ strategy and
roadmap
- Translate research insights and synthesise abstract ideas into concrete design recommendations,
wireframes and/or prototypes
- Make product design recommendations utilising research, design thinking principles, Agile and Lean
methodologies, as well as UX design frameworks and best practice
- Contribute to and maintain our design system to ensure design and experimental consistency across
our products

* Requirements:
- Fluency in English.

- A background in UX design, UI Design, product designer or similar - particularly in a Startup environment,
Fintech, Payments, POS, Banking and/or other merchant based financial service.
- Strong experience in Figma, Google Slides, Powerpoint and Google Analytics
- Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and an understanding of mobile-first
and responsive Design Principles
- Fluent in design system principles and applications, user-centred design best practices, and a firm
knowledge of Material design and Accessibility best practices
- A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects
