Job vacancy QA/QC Manager

JAC's client –A big brand with offices in Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, China and Vietnam is looking talent for the position of QA/QC Manager who oversees the day-to-day quality standards operational functions of a business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, manage and maintain the quality standards/manual and requirements as laid out in the respective through Quality Assurance and Control processes.
• Assure the quality of raw material used as well as manufacturing quality from in-line inspection processes to the final assurance of finished goods shipments through AQL inspections.
• Ensure that the customers’ quality requirements are met and satisfied.
• Manage input quality: raw material inspection, color matching and testing facilities to ensure that only compliant raw material is used in production.
• Control inspections in-line & ensure manufacturing is compliance with the Items Description and Quality Manual requirements.
• Make sure of quality requirements of the Items Description are interpreted and actioned correctly by production supervisors and operators as well as those responsible for quality inspections.
• Conduct Quality management and AQL finished goods inspections correctly and thoroughly and implement the Product Safety and Label Policies.
• Use quality data to correct quality problems and that the resources of the quality team are used in the areas of most need. Decision maker with quality issues.
• Make use of Root Cause Analysis when managing investigations into quality complaints and secure corrective actions.
• Ensure that the quality targets as established are known by all concerned and achieved.
• Lead the team and conduct needed training to inspectors/ staffs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• University degree majoring in garment technology is preferred.
• Scientific and logical method to resolve problems.
• Good teamwork spirit and independent, decisive maker.
• Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work.
• Leadership, coaching skills, and willingness to give advice when needed.
• 3year + of working experience in the same position in the garment field.
• Good command of English (speaking Japanese is an advantage).
