JOB RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                 
  • In the agricultural industry, the roles and responsibilities of an agronomy sales manager are of paramount importance to ensure both operational excellence as well as sales performance.
  • To serve as a key player between our agricultural products and the end-users, forging critical connections that facilitate the seamless distribution of our essential solutions.
  • Agronomy sales manager act as educators, enlightening our dealers and end-users about company innovative and their sustainable practices.
  • Market analysis and trend identification are also part of agronomy sales manager repertoire, enabling company to align offerings with ever-evolving demands.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams at Asia & Pacific office as well as with regional sales managers, helps steer research and development efforts to create solutions tailored to our client’s need
  • Monitoring and analysing sales performance is an essential part of their role.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers is a crucial aspect of their role.
  • Addressing customer complaints and resolving any issues that arise is essential to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting via the regional sales representative a yearly customer satisfaction surveys to make the necessary improvements.
  • Training the local distributors to ensure sufficient solutions of the products.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with team in Asia & Pacific regional office, customers, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in sales strategies and techniques is necessary to meet sales targets and drive revenue
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis to form business decisions.
  • An agronomy sales manager needs to possess a deep understanding of agronomy principles especially plant nutrition practices.
  • Familiarity with various crop production systems in order to provide tailored solutions.
  • Knowledge of agricultural regulations and certifications ensures compliance with industry standards.
  • Strong leadership skills are required to guide and motivate the local dealers towards achieving targets.
  • Must possess effective decision making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • The ability to develop and implement sales training programs is essential for enhancing the team’s skills.
  • Prioritization and time management skills are crucial for accomplishing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills including SAP systems.
