Job vacancy Regional HSE Manager

COMPANY OVERVIEW
JAC's client, a global energy management company is hiring a Regional HSE Manager to work in HCMC and Thailand.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pilot and consolidate the governance system to manage HSE risks and impacts on all implementations in the region.
• Establish clear roles for all projects’ stakeholders in the management of HSE-related matters during the development and operation of the company’s assets.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the company’s operations and HSE performance.
• Make sure that our global policy is in line with local regulations and is implemented and respected everywhere. 
• Provide the required support and training of resources allocated to HSE for the review of HSE risk and impacts during project development, construction, and operational phases.
• Review the EPC/AM contract and ensure applicable HSE requirements are integrated into the EPC/AM contract before signature.
• Oversee the execution of action plans defined to mitigate project adverse impacts to all project stakeholders.
• Provide support and guidance to the company’s EPC or O&M contractors in the development and implementation.
• Set up control and governance rules to allow for self-improvement of all HSE-related procedures within the company.
• Organize HSE audits and training to improve the safety awareness of all the team contractors and partners.
• Organize a proper HSE reporting to headquarters.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in HSE or equivalent.
• Technical expertise in HSE matters.
• Strong HSE background as an advisor
• Solid knowledge of the OHSAS 1800/ ISO 45001 system
• Previous experience in Health and safety management in an industrial field.
• Experience in Environment and Social risk management of large industrial Projects impact would be a plus.
• 5 years in an equivalent job
• Languages: Professional English level
• Ready to travel overseas at least one week per month.
• Good at English communication
