Job vacancy Accounting Associate

COMPANY OVERVIEW

A Foreign investment company is looking for an Accounting Associate (full-time remote) to join and support in investigating potential investment opportunities in Vietnam.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bookkeeping for management company, advisory entities and the holding company.
• Receive, review, refute or confirm expenses for:
  • research expenses
  • company expenses
  • employee expenses
  • fund expenses
• Create payments for all confirmed expenses.
• Assist COO to answer company’s auditor questions.
• Assist compliance to answer annual regulatory reviews.
• Learn the financial rules from Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and apply them to company clients as appropriate.  
• For those with financial services experience:
  • Complete monthly Net Asset Value reconciliation for fund(s).
  • Assist in recalculating Fund fees.
  • Engage with Fund Administrator to resolve questions.
  • Participate in annual review of Fund Administrator with compliance team

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of accounting (or the equivalent)
• Having knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS
• Advanced English (minimum: IELTS 6.5 / TOEIC 945 / TOEFL iBT 90, or equivalent)
