Job vacancy Senior QC Engineer

COMPANY OVERVIEW
Foreign company is looking for Senior QC Engineer to join their dynamic team in Khanh Hoa province.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write and send non-conformance reports when necessary.
• Control inspection and witness point for equipment installation, alignment and levelling in accordance with the relevant ITP collaborating construction teams and the erection subcontractors with deep understanding and interpretation of all relevant quality documents such as site quality plan, ITP, NDT plan, PQR / WPS, WQT plan and method statements.
• Support company construction teams’ effective implementation of all tests and inspections in accordance with the relevant ITP and ensure adherence to all procedures.
• Assist the main-con to understand quality policy to their satisfaction.
• Perform Boiler walk-down inspection and generate punch-listing operations.
• Verify special processes and the relevant workers’ qualifications.
• Witness the tests, controls, and inspections.
• Schedule, control, and escort owner’s witness.
• Guarantee inspection status control for parts of the plant within his area of responsibility, authorizing their acceptance at quality control completion.
• Obtain the relevant documentation and ensure the correct implementation of the approved ITP according to owner’s requirements.
• Ensure that the erection contractor issues and registers all necessary inspection and test records and calibration records.
• Ensure to take the safety-first action all the time on the site.
• Report to QC Manager, control, and monitor all activities related to quality.
• Other duties as required.

  JOB REQUIREMENTS

• University Degree in welding engineering or mechanical engineer with holding welding international inspection certificates.
• Holding NDE certificates level 2.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in QA/QC in power plant industry especially boiler pressure part and piping.
• Experience in developing and reviewing project quality plans.
• Experience in test package preparation and final handover documentation activities.
• Experience in quality management system and close-out of inspection and audit non-conformities.
• Familiar with ASME codes for welding, NDE, PWHT, boiler pressure and external piping.
• Familiar with inspection works at site.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Good at English communication
