Job vacancy PTW Mechanical Engineer (Commissioning)

COMPANY OVERVIEW
Foreign company is looking for Commissioning PTW Mechanical to be responsible for the PTW Mechanical works during the construction and commissioning period in Khanh Hoa province.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, prepare, develop, and implement a Permit To Work (PTW) system during the construction, back energisation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing and operation of the plant.
• Monitor the progress of works executed under an issued PTW to assist with overall schedule and progress against approved program
• Ensure that subcontractor’s personnel are adequately trained in PTW procedures and that works covered by a PTW are conducted in a safe and productive manner.
• Prepare training matrixes for nominated personnel. These training matrixes will satisfy the safety needs for the training of the nominated personnel to obtain approved PTW holder status.
• Attend and participate in any training required to improve the safe working condition in this project.
• Attend and participate when requested in progress review meetings with subcontractors.
• Review and maintain the approved PTW system.
• Ensure safe isolation/operation of the plant to minimise risk to people and meet commissioning and operational activities.
• Other duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher majoring in Mechanical engineering or relevant to the duties of the position.
• Having the knowledge of Power Station Operations.
• Experience with commissioning works and the required permit systems are essential for the position.
• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain same) would be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
• The effective implementation of PTW System.
• Timeliness of delivery of services and reports.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
• Good at English communication
