Job vacancy Laser Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing both optical and electrical repairs on the laser. This position will work closely with the Customer Support Team (Service Team & Order Admin) and Logistic Team
• Analyse, diagnose, and troubleshoot laser problems
• Perform assemble, align optics; repair electrical parts; upgrade software for the system
• Follow established procedures on routine work
• Maintain appropriate tools and keeps on hand as required
• Maintain clear records of repair data and reports
• Help logistics to maintain a clear record of the part inventory
Work in rotating shifts (weekly)
a. Early Shift : The working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30 with 30-minute rest break for lunch.
b. Late Shift: The working hours are Monday to Friday from 14:30 to 22:00 with 30-minute rest break for dinner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific, technical, or photonics-related field or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in Lasers or Electro-Optics is advantageous
• Self-driven and able to work independently, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills in English
• Computer literate
• Participate in initial multi-month training at the Business Unit in Germany
