VINACOMIN - CAO SON COAL JOINT STOCT COMPANY

Cao Son – TKV Coal Joint Stock Company (formerly Cao Son Mine Construction Plant) was established on 6th June 1974, under the assistance of the USSR. By 26th May 1983, the Plant had become Cao Son Mine with the total reserve of run coal of 70,235,000 tons. On 16th October 2001, the Mine was renamed as Cao Son Coal Company. And on 8th August 2006, the company was renamed again, as Cao Son – TKV Coal Joint Stock Company, which is a member company under Vietnam Coal-Mineral Industries Group. On 2nd January 2007, the company’s operational mechanism was officially turned into joint stock company mechanism under the joint stock company’s business registration certificate No 22 03 000748, granted on 02.01.2007. The business of the company was registered at the Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Ninh province, with its total chartered capital valued at VND 100 billion.
