Day1: Arrive in Hanoi
The group will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel, just near the Old Quarter. The afternoon is free until we meet for a group briefing and dinner.

Day2: Ride around Hanoi and countryside

AM: Back to the origins
You start the day from your hotel at 08.00am and travel west of Hanoi to visit Duong Lam village, a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River delta where still preserve many hundred-year-old houses. It will be your unique experience as you walk along tiny ancient alleys; visit Mong Phu temple in Mong Phu hamlet - the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact, dedicated to national heroes. Have some talks with the locals in their ancient houses by visiting the ancient houses of Mr Lam, Mr Ha and Mr Huyen. Enjoin your special lunch with Vietnamese foods in an ancient house.

PM: Understand your spiritual life
After resting, we continue driving to visit Mia Pagoda (other hamlet in Duong Lam village), is built in 15 th century and admire 287 statues of all sizes, among with are famous sculpture such as the statue of Buddha in the Himalayas and the statues of the Eight Vajra Deities. Then visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, places dedicated to two national heroes Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung.

Day3: Transfer to Ha Giang
Breakfast at hotel. Tour guide & Driver pick you up at the hotel. Transfer to Ha Giang though Son Nam District of Tuyen Quang province. Enjoy natural landscape and green fields, palm hill and villages. Passing Tuyen quang town, you can visit village of black Tay minority. Arrive Ha Giang town in the late afternoon you’ll arrive at Me village - a hometown of Tay people. Remainder of the day for wandering to peaceful village and having dinner and spend the night in a family’s stilt house..

Day4: Cycle to Tam Son
Today we begin the challenge. Shortly after leaving Ha Giang, we start climbing and continue an uphill ride through the day. We will climb over the dramatic Cong Troi Pass, we will drop into Tam Son, a very small town on the side of the mountains where we spend the night.

Day5: Cycle to Yen Minh
We start the day with a fantastic descent into a lush valley. We then follow a small river along the valley and pass the ruins of a French position from the Indochina war. We then start climbing again to reach the top of Doan Kiet pass. We then descend into Yen Minh, which sits at the base of another sub-range of mountains bordering China.

Day6: Cycle to Dong Van
We enjoy some level ground as we leave town and then after our first rest stop, start climbing. Today’s climbs are harder, but more spectacular, as we move into a higher altitude. We will climb through the black volcanic rock, where you will see various hill-tribes seeking out a living from this infertile ground. The colorful, traditional costumes of these people will help you to face the challenge of the mountains, and the views over these spectacular mountains and through the huge gorges will reward your efforts. Tonight we stay in the mountain town of Dong Van. At this point, we are less than 20km from the Chinese border.

Day7: Cycle and drive to Ha Giang
We set off through Chinese, border frontier country. We pass many houses of the hilltribes, constructed from compacted mud. We have some climbing to do, before we enjoy a big descent on our loop back to Yen Minh. From Yen Minh, we will drive back to Ha Giang where we spend the night.

Day8: Cycle to Vinh Quang
Today we start with an easy ride along a valley for about 50km, before tackling a climb and then a descent to reach the small town of Vinh Quang.

Day9: Cycle then Jeeps to Bac Ha
Today is a relatively easy ride with some rolling hills along a river towards Xemen. From here we meet our hilltriibe, bushy mechanics and their Russin built jeeps who will take us over the dramatic range separating Xemen from our overnight home of Bac Ha. Bac Ha is becoming popular with day trippers from Sapa, who come to visit the once a week market. The people of this area are colorfully dressed and even on an ordinary day, there is plenty of interesting merchandise through town.

Day10: Bac Ha – Sapa – 110km
A relaxing day promenade around Bac Ha Sunday market, see a market day for all tribes: Tay, Nung, Dao, Flower H’Mong, Giay, and Phu La etc? Afternoon we ride bike around H?Mong village. O/N Sapa.

Day11: Sapa – Than Uyen – 80km
From Sapa we start the day’s ride with a 15kms climb to the top of the Tram Ton Pass, stopping on route to visit the “silver waterfall”. Then it’s a 26kms plunge down to Binh Lu junction. From here we continue along the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, there are a number of hard climbs but the magnificent landscape makes the hardship all worthwhile. We finish with a 20kms descent to Than Uyen.

Day12: Than Uyen – Van Ban – Lao Cai – Hanoi -75km
After a good breakfast, ride 40kms around the other side of the stunning Muong Kim valley with time for lots of stops to take pictures of the local hill tribe people and the stunning scenery there. Arrive in Van Ban for a late lunch then hop on the minivan to drive back to Lao Cai. In Lao Cai you'll be able to have a refreshing shower before sitting down to a dinner of local Vietnamese food. Night Train back to Ha Noi.

12.30: Welcome aboard the Bai Tho Deluxe Cruise, fruit cocktail is served.
13.00: Lunch is served while cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay.
15.30: After Lunch Cruise to visit to Cua Van floating village.
17.00: Trekking or swimming at Soi Sim island.
18.30: Anchor in secluded lagoon for overnight.
19.30: Diner is served in the dining room.
21.00: After diner relax on deck, drink service available or night time fishing.

Day14: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi
6:30: Enjoy sunrise over the bay or take part in our morning yoga class.
7.00: Coffee and tea is served.
8.00: Visit splendid Sung Sot grotto.
9.15: Luggage pulls out.
9.30: Buffet brunch served while cruising through the bay to the pier.
11.00: Arrive at the pier. Time to say Goodbye!

Day15: Hanoi – Departure
There is a free time for you to relax or further explore Ha Noi. The trip ends after your transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure.
