COMPANY OVERVIEW  

JAC's client - A top foreign financial service provider is looking for a Senior Credit Analysis Manager at HCM City, Vietnam. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Assure that the lending and underwriting procedures are carried out efficiently and professionally in accordance with the company's policies, the business code, and the credit policy.  

• Oversee the Credit Line facilities for customers by keeping a close eye on their performance and requirements and regularly reporting on the results.  

• Manage the examination and analysis of relevant reports to monitor team performance (approval of loan applications, call-back times, etc.) and to enhance team performance to meet KPI targets.   

• Ensure that all requirements for internal and external compliance are written down, procedures are followed, requirements are incorporated into business processes, and reporting is completed on time.   

• Ensure that the Business Development Team's necessary documentation and associated KYC ("Know Your Customer") are appropriately validated and cross-checked by Credit Analysts in a timely manner.  

• As needed, make sure the department's internal Credit Appraisal and Decision policy, procedure, rules, and guidelines are kept up to date and adhere to changes in internal and external regulations  

• Assume complete accountability for the Credit Analysis Team's management, including direct evaluation, approval, and recommendation of all transactions as permitted by the Delegated Lending Authority.  

• Assist Sales Consultant in turning potential consumers from dangerous ones by making recommendations on loan terms and conditions.    

• Assist in creating or modifying training materials related to credit and financial products and distributing them to sales representatives and other pertinent personnel.   

• Support Risk Management Team to establish and maintain a Credit Risk grading system backed with statistically tested and validated attributes for loan grading and risk provisioning. 

• Draw in, train, and hold onto individuals who possess the abilities and drive to consistently offer distributors' dealers and clients the best possible service.   

• Maintain staff restrictions while ensuring rotation in lower roles and having a backup for all important functions to prevent company disruptions.  

• Deliver clear and consistent reports analyzing the progress, timelines, achievements, and setbacks of all activities related to credit risk management. This should be done at all levels - portfolio-wide, segmented, and individual/corporate applications.  

• Implement an effective monitoring and control system to maintain the ideal balance of credit risk and operational risk for the managed portfolio.  

• Guarantee the efficient functioning of the Early-Warning-Signals system, which aids in identifying and mitigating potential credit and fraud risks at an early stage.  

JOB REQUIREMENT  

• Holds a degree in a field that involves quantitative analysis.  

• Ideally has 5 years of experience in managing retail and/or wholesale products in the banking or finance sectors.  

• Ideally has 3 years of experience in the role of Manager of Credit Analysis.  

• Has a proven track record in managing credit risk through both consumer and commercial lending.  

• Fluent in English and is an effective communicator, both in writing and speaking.
