Job vacancy Legal Manager (Banking sector)

​​​​​​ COMPANY OVERVIEW JAC's client is a foreign bank based in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure prompt identification of applicable laws, regulations and requirements, impact assessment and implementation of appropriate controls.
• Maintaining the awareness & understanding by all staff of local rules & regulation with due attention on AML/TF by (i) regular legal update and analysis, (ii) quickly report to the Branch's Management & dissemination to all staff, (iii) referring to market practice, and (iv) training both ad-hoc and on regular basis.
• Oversee identification, assessment and management / remediation of key compliance risks / issues within the jurisdiction.
• Oversee execution of compliance programs within the jurisdiction.
• Develop and implement appropriate compliance training for all employees.
• Provide advice or solution for any compliance-related matter or inquiry received from all staffs of the Branch.
• Participate in the process of developing (i) new products / services for the Branch, and (ii) operational rules /procedures for the Branch.
• Manage regulatory inspections.
• Provide support to the management.
• Provide direction, leadership and guidance to compliance staffs.
• Build strong and effective relationships with stakeholders.

  JOB REQUIREMENT

• University graduated in Economics, Banking, Foreign Trade, Account & Auditing
• At least 05 years of management experience
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to handle multitask and to work under high pressure
