Job vacancy Power Plant Chemist

COMPANY OVERVIEW
Foreign company is looking for Power Plant Chemist (Water & Steam Analysis) to join their dynamic team in Khanh Hoa province.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be responsible for the analysis and the quality management of the water & steam.
• Take the water & steam samples at the designated location and analyze them periodically.
• Report the analysis result and advise the quality improvement.
• Prepare and issue the daily report.
• Manage chemical engineer who is dispatched by water analysis company.
• Manage the stocks and the storage of the chemicals, the consumables, and tools required for the analysis.
• Calibrate the portable /permanent instruments periodically
• Other duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in chemical or other related discipline required.
• Having working experience from 3 years at thermal power plants, specially, with super critical boiler, water management.
• Knowledge of water quality, water treatment and water measurement in accordance with standard codes such as ASME, JIS and local regulation/standard.
• Having previous experience about the water & steam analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proper performance of the operation, maintenance and commissioning activities and judgement on the result.
• Quickness of response to queries and provision of solution to problems.
• Accuracy of reports and records.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
• Fluent in English.
