COMPANY OVERVIEW
Importer, marketer, distributor and seller of motorcycles and parts from the world’s third-biggest. The company is the master distributor for the whole country of Vietnam, including Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
           
LEGAL
  • Be the primary representative in the country, including being a signatory to company registration documents.
  • Expand corporate network through an affiliation with industry-related networks and organizations.
  • Work through management system certification.
  • Showcase expertise in manufacturing, assembly, distribution, and labor relations.
HUMAN RESOURCE
  • Design and develop the country-specific organization.
  • Spearhead the development of specific job descriptions, position grading, and pay scaling.
  • Ensure highly qualified team members are recruited and selected.
  • Implement a Competence & Key Result Area Based Performance Appraisal; in addition to a merit-based reward system.
  • Develop an extensive company policy, procedure, and guidelines.
  • Maintain close relations with the labor pool to ensure industrial peace in the long term.
MARKETING
  • Lead the development and execution of a marketing plan from inception, and launch to sustaining activities.
  • Develop, review and enhance marketing 4P’s on a continuing program.
  • Create and lead a Product Management Team that will ensure product availability, brand/product marketing, push-selling activities, and product discoveries, including competitive monitoring and consumer insighting.
  • Lead the creation of brand launch, product launch, consumer communication, and volume generating activities.
  • Ensure to provide adequate marketing and communication support to business development and sales teams with their initiatives as outlined below.
  • Guarantee effective localization of communication efforts utilizing existing marketing materials provided by the principal.
  • Create a Management Information System that will gather, generate and report insightful marketing information regarding consumers, products and competitors.
  • Maintain close relationships with external partners to improve the company and team reputation.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
  • Discover viable (Bajaj) products for future immediate sales pipeline introduction.
  • Discover and explore the possible distribution of allied products such as accessories to create a non-core revenue stream.
SALES
  • Lead the development of the Dealership network in all key sales centers in the country. Initiate a
  • Dealership Roadshow program that covers all viable in-country markets.
  • Lead the exploration of traditional and non-traditional sales network to further improve product availability and boosts sales.
  • Spearhead the localization, adoption, and implementation of the IBP program.
  • Achieve sales targets in revenue and units annually through an effective Dealership/Sales Team.
  • Ensure highly effective and efficient service centers.
  • Initiate extensive training of service center personnel.
  • Guarantee availability of spare parts and develop distribution outside of company-owned service centres.
LOGISTICS
  • Lead the development of a cost-effective and operationally efficient supply chain.
  • Direct initiatives that will improve and reduce overall product cost through localization, whenever possible.
  • Ensure risk management in all links in the supply chain against all potential loss-generating scenarios (such as theft, natural disasters, fire, etc.).
  • Lead in the development of the most efficient facilities and supply chain management.
  • Work towards attaining ISO certification to improve management systems and enhance company value and perception.
FINANCE
  • Prepare Year 1 to 5 financial projections with revenue targets and expense details.
  • Lead the compilation of financial reports, and control financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all financial metrics are kept within budget and timing.
  • Lead the development of key lending partners/creditors; secure an acceptable minimum number of lending partners/creditors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with credit partners, banks, and investors.                                                       
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in the motorcycle industry, minimum ten years in VP or C-Level.
  • Relevant educational degree, MBA is a plus
  • Exceptional sales and marketing background with history of achieving sales goals
