JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall manage the existing suppliers for direct material
• Make survey and analysis the local market for the relevant commodities.
• Set-up the local purchasing strategies for relevant commodities, and align with regional purchasing and BU purchasing.
• Assure the proper involvement of all functions for technical and demand clarification in order to achieve the targets/ strategies.
• Prepare and execute negotiations/ price discussions with suppliers.
• Handle legal document with suppliers in terms of capacity, quality, delivery, payment … and get the Frame Contract and Price & Capacity Agreement signed with suppliers. Review and update periodically according to market analysis.
• Improve the material supply chain from supplier by close co-ordination with BU, logistics, warehouse, QA and central planning. Execute and follow up actions with suppliers together with related functions.
• Visit, evaluate, audit and make proposal to release the suppliers with the team.
• Monitor & evaluate the supply activities, conduct supplier assessment according to guideline.
• Build up supplier networks and relationships, identify new sourcing opportunities to ensure that goods can be sourced from various resources.
• Take responsible for the commercial part in the sourcing decision, POT process and local supplier development.
• Task force and trouble shooting in case of delivery and quality problems.
• Strategic supplier development.
• Project follow up and problems solving.
• Budget planning and KPI management.

• >5 years’ experience in Mechanical Industries in Purchasing function
• Capable to work independent in matrix organization
• Strong commitment to business targets
• Good command of English and Computer skills
• Excellent negotiation skill, interpersonal communication skills
• Good reporting, presentation skill
• Strong leadership, ownership and time management
• Capable to understand complex technical matters
• High energy level and be able to work independent
• Open and direct. Trust worthy, loyal and ethical

• 100% basic salary in probation time
• Working time: 8h - 16h30 (Mon - Fri)
• Working place: Bien Hoa, Dong Nai
