COMPANY OVERVIEW  An innovative automotive company is calling applications for Head of Legal based in Hanoi, Vietnam. Role Overview
The Legal Director will have overall responsibility and accountability to organise the works for all legal inquiries of the group company
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Legal compliance of group of companies
  • Legal consultation for all business and operation activities: Interaction and relationship building with the Group’s operational, business and leadership team, identifying, and satisfying their request for legal assistance and counsel.
  • Contractual works
  • Legal issues, including but not limited to: Group’s licenses, permits, filings, projects, and work requirements including the development of showrooms and service facilities; Intellectual property; Claims, dispute and litigation; Other legal matter 
  • Management and coordination with all legal teams of subsidiaries
  • Contact and coordinate with external law firms for sourcing their services.
  • Daily matters that require legal attention and interaction with key leaders on specific projects (investment, M&A, financing etc.) in cooperation with holding legal department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Expat who has been working long years in US 
  • Automotive industry experience and experience of working in MNC company is required
  • Previous regional or global scope is must
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Scrupulousness and diligence
  • Executive presence, confidence, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Can-do mindset with high energy and strong work ethic
  • Creative problem solver; not afraid to think outside the box
  • Strength of convictions; presents ideas and point-of-view in a well thought out manner
