Job vacancy Senior QC Engineer

COMPANY OVERVIEW
Foreign company is looking for Senior QC Engineer to join their dynamic team in Khanh Hoa province.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support QC Manager to make all QC activities proceed smoothly.
• Confirm all the documents such as, but not limited to, site quality control plan, ITP, NDT plan, PQR / WPS, WQT plan and method statements related to quality control activities of the construction and commissioning work
• Ensure all the systems such as internal/owner’s witness system, inspection system, quality record creation/collection system and handover system are in effect at all the times during the construction work.
• Communicate EPC Contractor’s QC members frequently to comprehend their requirements and avoid miscommunication and misunderstanding between EPC Contractor and company.
• Find out any existing and potential QC issues and share such issues with all related parties of EPC Contractor, Subcontractor, and company so that the related personnel can take quick action.
• Involve all related parties of EPC Contractor/Subcontractor and company to solve any conflict or issues rising between the three parties.
• Support and participate to all the QC audits by EPC Contractor and take a lead of the internal QC audit.
• Attend internal/external quality management meetings, sort out tasks arisen in the meeting and take action proactively to clear the tasks by set due date.
• Be involved in preparation work of hydrotest/pneumatic/visual test package so that Subcontractor can prepare it effectively and timely.
• Review hydrotest/ pneumatic/ visual test package before submission to EPC Contractor and make sure that the quality of the test package is worth for EPC Contractor to review
• Understand well about IECC process and required issuance date and make any necessary coordination to keep the handover schedule to EPC Contractor.
• Attend QC–related walkdown such as for IECC and Hydrotest and make any necessary coordination to clear punch items immediately after the walkdown.
• Feedback and implement any QC -related lesson learnt arising in project to prevent repetition of similar incidents/ mistakes/ errors.

  JOB REQUIREMENTS

• University Degree in welding engineering or mechanical engineer with holding welding international inspection certificates.
• Holding NDE certificates level 2.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in QA/QC in power plant industry especially boiler pressure part and piping.
• Experience in developing and reviewing project quality plans.
• Experience in test package preparation and final handover documentation activities.
• Experience in quality management system and close-out of inspection and audit non-conformities.
• Familiar with ASME codes for welding, NDE, PWHT, boiler pressure and external piping.
• Familiar with inspection works at site.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Good at English communication
• Working period with immediate to March 2023 and subject to further extension
