Tan Duc Technical Development and Trading Joint Stock Company (TD&T), originally Tan Duc Technical Development and Trading Company Ltd, a joint venture unit between the State Committee of Science and Technology (the Ministry of Science and Technology now) and the Vietnam General Institute of Sciences (the Vietnam Institute of Sciences and Technology) was established in 1991 according to the decision No. 67/VKH-QĐ of the Vietnam General Institute of Sciences and re-registered according to the Corporation Law in 1992 following the spirit of the Governmental Decision No. 388/HĐBT.In order to satisfy the need of development, from March 2002 the Company changed its business registration following the form of a Joint Stock Company.
